Welcome Message

Issue and Context

  • Previously, patients were not adequately informed that they would be receiving their statements electronically.

Solution and Rationale

In response to this challenge, we introduced a "Welcome Message" feature. This message warmly greets the patient as they enter the platform and clearly communicates that their statements will be delivered electronically. The introduction of the Welcome Message serves to enhance our communication with patients, reducing opt-outs and improving response rates to our campaigns.

Reply "PAY" to Pay 

Issue and Context

  • We've introduced a distinctive feature that sets us apart in the market.

Solution and Rationale

  • Introducing a seamless solution: Patients with a card on file can now respond to a text message with the word "PAY."

  • Their payment will be swiftly processed, and they will receive a follow-up message indicating whether the payment was approved or declined.

  • This streamlined process ensures convenience and efficiency for both patients and our business.

Enabling EMV and Digital Wallet Support at the Point of Sale

Issue and Context

  • Our system was not able to support for EMV and digital wallets.

Solution and Rationale

  • By incorporating EMV and digital wallet support, we bridge the existing gap in our product offering.

  • The introduction of EMV and digital wallet support enhances security by leveraging chip technology, mitigating the risk of counterfeit fraud.

  • It offers greater convenience for patients, allowing them to make payments using popular methods such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, as well as their smartphones and wearable devices.

  • Additionally, the integration of EMV chip readers reduces our processing costs.

  • Improving Patient Experience through Integrated Treatment Cost Estimations

Benefits:

  • Streamlining the Process: Our integration with Athenahealth streamlines the patient experience by automating the estimation of out-of-pocket expenses.

  • Eliminating Manual Tasks: Users are no longer burdened with the manual task of estimating patients' costs.

  • Personalized Estimates: Cleagage now generates estimates automatically, taking into account the patient's insurance benefits and the CPT codes to be billed on the claim.

DrChrono Balance Due vs Ready for Statement

Issue and Context

  • Previously, clients had to manually switch patient billing statuses to "Ready for Statement" before we could initiate our workflow

Solution and Rationale

  • We have enhanced our integration capabilities to allow our process to begin when the billing status is "Balance Due," resulting in a more streamlined and efficient process for our clients. This automation reduces manual intervention, enhancing overall efficiency.
